Fathers Day 2011 We sponsored the Wall That Heals into Orange Ca with the largest escort it has ever had. 632 Riders showed up on a Tuesday and we had over 35,000 visitors in 4 days it was on display.
In 2013 we made history by bringing the Wall of Remembrance together with The Wall That Heals in one location face to face. Representing more than 70,000 fallen and 70 years of combat. It was amazing to see 3 generation of veterans come together.
Right on the highway just off the 99 we setup with the Jeremy Staat Foundation. Generals, Real Sod and a homemade stage and flag stand were ready for us when we arrived. This same weekend Honor Flight raised over 125,000.00 to send WWII Veterans to D.C. to see their memorial.
Beautiful Sunset on the last day before we took the memorial down in Cedar Falls Iowa. The next day we got the wall down and some of the field of flags before a huge storm burst came thru with tons of rain. THANK YOU Volunteers AMVETS Post 49
